Fashion & textile artist Elizabeth Siedow creates textural and sensual work from a variety of materials. Receiving her BFA in fashion design, Elizabeth went on to study Haute Couture in Paris, France, and received an MFA in textile arts in 2016.
Her love of the art of making and draping fabric, as well as techniques for sewing, printing and embellishing informs her current approach to creating non-fashion pieces from traditional clothing materials.
Elizabeth was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and grew up appreciating both the connection to natural materials and hand-made articles, as well as the vast landscapes that exist in Wyoming. Her work articulates that sense of perfection-in-imperfection that is present in nature. Elizabeth now lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
